At Fostering Hearts, we believe every child deserves the security of a safe, stable and nurturing home. Sadly, some children are unable to remain with their birth families due to difficult or unsafe circumstances. During these periods of uncertainty, fostering provides a vital lifeline — offering children the consistency, reassurance and care they need while plans are made for their future.
Fostering can be a powerful way to influence a child’s life positively. As a Fostering Hearts carer, you provide more than accommodation. You offer structure, encouragement and steady support. You become a positive role model, helping a child access education, build healthy routines, develop confidence and feel part of a family environment where they are valued and understood.
Fostering is both meaningful and demanding. There will be challenges, but there will also be moments of real progress — seeing a child settle, achieve at school, build friendships or begin to trust again. Those milestones matter.
You are never expected to manage those challenges alone. Our supervising social workers support around six families each, allowing for personalised, responsive guidance. Alongside 24/7 support, we provide comprehensive training and ongoing development to ensure you feel confident and well-prepared.
By opening your home to a child in need, you offer stability at a crucial time in their life. With the right support around you, you can help shape a safer, brighter future — not only for the child in your care, but for your wider community as well.
“At Fostering Hearts, we want foster parents to know that they’re not alone when it comes to raising a child in care. Our team of dedicated professionals is here to provide unwavering support and resources every step of the way, so they can ensure their foster children have the best future possible.”
Emma Rawlinson, Registered Manager
Fostering Hearts was established as a sister agency to Greater London Fostering. We recognised that carers living outside of London deserved a dedicated, local agency that truly understands the communities they live in and the needs of children in those areas.
Since forming in 2020, we have grown steadily and thoughtfully. Today, we support around 30 children and work alongside approximately 25 fostering families across Southern England and the Midlands. Our growth has always been guided by a commitment to maintaining a relational, close-knit approach rather than becoming a large, impersonal organisation.
We are incredibly proud of our carers, whose dedication makes a lasting difference every day. We are equally proud of our staff team, who work tirelessly to provide meaningful support — and most of all, we are proud of the children and young people whose resilience and progress inspire everything we do.
There are too many people to introduce you to everyone at Fostering Hearts, but it’s important you meet some of the key people.
