Fostering In Suffolk
Foster carers in Suffolk play an essential role in supporting vulnerable children across the county. For many young people who cannot live with their birth families, fostering provides the safety, stability and reassurance they need to begin rebuilding their confidence and sense of belonging.
By offering consistent care, guidance and encouragement, foster carers help children move forward positively — regardless of their early experiences. The impact of a stable, nurturing home can be life-changing, giving young people the opportunity to grow, achieve and believe in their own potential.
There is an ongoing need for dedicated foster carers throughout Suffolk. If you have ever considered fostering, now could be the time to explore how you could make a meaningful and lasting difference in a child’s life.
Why Foster With Us?
At Fostering Hearts, we understand that fostering brings both rewards and challenges. That is why we focus on providing consistent, meaningful support to our foster carers, ensuring they feel confident, valued and well-prepared at every stage of their journey.
Our supervising social workers support a small number of families — around six — which allows for personalised guidance and regular, high-quality supervision. Alongside 24/7 support, we offer comprehensive training, ongoing development opportunities and practical advice whenever it is needed.
We also recognise the importance of stability. Our fostering fees are £479.50 per week for children aged 0–10 and £507.50 per week for young people aged 11+, helping carers focus on providing the best possible care.
By standing firmly alongside our foster carers, we create the conditions where children can feel safe, supported and hopeful about their future. When carers are well-supported, children are given the strongest possible foundation to thrive.
“We are dedicated to recruiting 22 new fostering families in Suffolk over the next 36 months, we want to make a real difference locally”
