Fostering In Buckinghamshire
Foster carers play a vital role in the lives of children across Buckinghamshire. They provide safe, stable homes for young people who cannot live with their birth families, offering the security and consistency that every child needs to feel settled and supported.
For children who may have experienced uncertainty or disruption, a nurturing fostering household can make all the difference. Foster carers offer patience, encouragement and steady guidance, helping children build confidence, develop resilience and believe in their own potential — whatever their starting point.
If you live in Buckinghamshire, you could become a foster carer and make a lasting difference to a child’s future, giving them the opportunity to grow, achieve and thrive.
Why Foster With Us?
At Fostering Hearts, we know that choosing to become a foster carer is a significant and thoughtful decision. That’s why we make sure you are never navigating the journey alone. From your very first enquiry, you’ll receive clear guidance, honest conversations and consistent support.
Our approach is relational and personal. With supervising social workers supporting a small number of families — around six — you benefit from meaningful, responsive support rather than feeling like just another name on a list. We offer comprehensive training, ongoing professional development and 24/7 support, so help is always available when you need it.
We also recognise the practical realities of fostering. Alongside emotional and professional support, we provide competitive fostering fees — £479.50 per week for children aged 0–10 and £507.50 per week for young people aged 11+ — helping to ensure financial stability while you focus on caring for a child.
Above all, our role is to stand alongside you. We are committed to helping you build a safe, nurturing and stable home where children can recover, grow and move forward with confidence.
“We are dedicated to recruiting 17 new fostering families in Buckinghamshire over the next 36 months, we want to make a real difference locally”
