Why Become A Fostering Hearts Carer?

At Fostering Hearts, we believe that every child deserves a loving and stable home. Unfortunately, there are too many children in the world who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. As a result, they need a safe and supportive environment to live and grow in until they can be reunited with their families or are adopted. This is where fostering plays a vital role in changing the future of these children.

By becoming a Fostering Hearts carer, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children. As a carer, you will help provide a stable and supportive environment that can help these children develop into happy and healthy adults. You will offer them a safe place to live, a healthy diet, positive role models and access to education and support networks, which can change the course of their lives.

Being a foster carer is not an easy job, but it is a rewarding one. You will face challenges along the way, but you will also have the chance to witness the growth and development of the children in your care. You will be providing them with the love and care that they need to thrive, and in return, you will experience the amazing feeling of seeing them flourish. Our team at Fostering Hearts provides ongoing support and training to our carers, so you’re never alone in this journey. By opening your heart and home to a child in need, you can make a huge impact on their life and the community as a whole.

“Everyone who works at Fostering Hearts is dedicated to supporting our foster carer to change children’s lives”

Emma Rawlinson, Acting Registered Manager

Our Fostering Payments

At Fostering Hearts, we understand that payment can be a tricky subject. That’s why we’re committed to making it as simple as possible for our foster carers.

When you join us as a carer, you can expect to receive £450 per week for each child under 11, and £475 per week for each child aged 11 and over.

The amount is designed to cover all expenses related to taking care of the child.

We are proud to provide this generous support, and unlike other agencies and some local authorities, we don’t pay you less if you care for siblings.

The Fostering Hearts Promise

Supportive

We're here for our foster carers around-the-clock, every day of the year. We understand that supporting a child's success requires our unwavering support for their caregivers.

Respectful

Foster carers are the backbone of our team. At no point do we consider them an afterthought, but rather the driving force of our organization. We hold their position in the highest regard and always treat them with the respect and dignity they deserve.

Dependable

At our core, we're dependable. When we make a commitment, we stick to it! Our carers and children know that they can count on us because our word is our bond.
