I was delighted to be invited to a parliamentary reception on Wednesday, on behalf of Positive Aspirations, to celebrate the success of foster carers and fostering in the independent section.
At the even a new report was launched, we highlights the impact that IFA foster carers, and the support around them makes to children.
It was an amazing opportunity to speak directly to MPs, Lords & Baroness’ about the amazing impact we have as an organisation.
Lawyers who care
One of the talks was from a care experienced young person, who has set up an organisation specifically focused on giving work experience and job opportunities in the legal sector to care experienced young people, so if we have any budding barristers out there, have a look.
